Summary: Use a PALCard or Low Value Purchase Order to purchase these items.

Please review the Commodities NOT permitted list, as well as this list, to determine if the item is allowable. This is not a complete list. For questions e-mail PALCard@uci.edu.

  • Advertisements, including employment (Internet, academic journal, magazine, newspaper, radio)
  • Artwork (for public/reception areas only)
  • Athletic supplies and apparel
  • Audio/Visual equipment
  • Awards, perpetual (only when award remains University property)
  • Banners and flags
  • Books
  • Bottled water - (Arrowhead - bulk bottles and dispensers)
  • Bus charters (allowable only at Certified Transportation & Southern California Grayline / Coach America)
